Who are we?
The Committee of SLA PTA consists of

Chairperson – Samantha Barber
Treasurer – Samantha Barber
Secretary – Ann Hunt

Gill Arbon, Kerry Hepting, Rick Tracey, Yvonne Turner, Lindsay Wiseman

We like to think that all parents, carers and staff are Friends Of Stone Lodge Academy as we all want to provide as much equipment and extra-curricular activities for our children as possible.

What do we do?

Funds raised go towards providing for such things as limousines for the school prom, trampolining lessons, Christmas presents for the primary children, leavers’ presents for the high school Year 11’s, visits and lots more.

Funds raised can also help to secure much larger grants from sources such as The National Lottery and The Variety Club and in the last year this has meant that we have been able to have new play equipment in the Primary Play Area, Fitness Equipment in the Secondary Playground, a Sensory Room in the Primary Department and a garden area and playhouse in the Primary Playground.

How can you help?

The committee meet termly but we realise it is not easy for people to attend meetings at the school so if you would like to help in any way at one of our popular Easter or Christmas Fayres or have any fundraising ideas we would love to hear from you either by e-mail or via the school office.
If you work for a company who fund match or support local charities or maybe you could source a raffle prize then that would be fantastic.

ONE MORE WAY OF SUPPORTING THE FRIENDS IS BY JOINING THE ‘200 CLUB’
By paying just £1.00 per month (forms available from the school office or from the website) you will be placed in a draw to win a monthly cash prize. It couldn’t be simpler!

The outdoor shelter has been installed in the Secondary playground. The next plan is to remove the old swings from the playground and install up to six new ones in a safer place.

Future events – A possible BBQ/Barn Dance in the Summer and Shopping /Pamper evening in the Autumn
